description. Working with paleontologists from the La Brea Tar Pits, I was provided with high quality CT scans of fossils from the museum's collection. I prepared the original scan files for 3D printing, and using high quality resin printed seven unique pieces at 1:1 scale with their original fossil counterparts. These 3D prints are currently being used at the La Brea Tar Pits for education and outreach where visitors can hold highly detailed lightweight reproductions without putting the original fossils at risk of damage. Seven pieces were commissioned in total, including the lower jaws of three smilodon fatalis, three lower jaws of Pleistocene coyotes, and one Equus occidentalis hoof.
